How do i become a member of the Heavy Metal Maniacs?
New members will always be introduced by our current members. So get in contact, meet us at parties and festivals, join the forum or the chatroom, become friends (on hyves, facebook, myspace, twittter or old fashioned real live!), and when we get to know you, see that you are a true Maniac... we'll ask YOU!
I hear you guys are restrictive to membership, why?
Because we are a group of friends, we don't ask just any guy with an Iron Maiden shirt to join. We are Maniacs, and truly mean the word Maniac. As most of our parties are open to everyone, please come and see what we mean. And please put on that Maiden shirt if you like!
How can i comment on the website?
- Join our forum (it's fun).
- Log into the forum, and come back to the website.
- Click "comment" and "log in" you will be logged into the frontpage of the website automatically. (or use this link)
- Done!
Note: as you are logged into the website, the chatroom will use the same username and log you in automatically!
I got a band or know a band that wants to play your festival, what can i do?
We get many requests from bands and managements but are always willing to take a look. Please know that we are Heavy Metal Maniacs, not Black Grindcore Doom Goth Metal Maniacs. So if your band is about Heavy Metal, please use the contact form to get in touch. If your band is not about Heavy Metal, we wish you all the best!
How do i change my avatar in the chatroom?
These avatars are generated randomly, but you can change them at www.gravatar.com. You can use these at many different sites. Another way is to log into the chatroom with your Facebook account: this will display your current Facebook picture.
